Sports Marketing Specialist

We’re seeking an experienced, results-driven, and sports-passionate Sports Marketing Specialist to take charge of our client’s sports-focused website/app and drive impactful growth across Southeast Asia. You’ll lead social media strategy, scale content performance, and manage campaigns with brand and affiliate partners — all within a fast-moving, digital-first environment.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Social Media Strategy & Growth
    • Lead multi-platform strategy (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X/Twitter, XiaoHongShu) to increase reach, followers, and web/app traffic.
    • Develop content calendars and campaigns around trending matches, leagues, and tournaments.
    • Drive acquisition through both organic and paid social channels, ensuring alignment with growth KPIs.
  • Content & Fan Engagement
    • Oversee content creation that fuels fan excitement — highlights, reels, memes, and community posts.
    • Collaborate with designers and video editors to produce visually striking, high-retention social assets.
    • Build strong engagement loops with fans and communities to enhance loyalty and advocacy.
  • Campaigns & Partnerships
    • Manage influencer, KOL, and affiliate collaborations to amplify brand visibility.
    • Execute co-branded and sponsored campaigns with partners and advertisers.
    • Optimise campaigns for engagement, conversion, and cost efficiency (CPA/ROAS).
  • Performance & Insights
    • Analyse and report on platform analytics — reach, CTR, conversions, follower growth, and revenue impact.
    • Identify content trends, competitor strategies, and viral opportunities.
    • Recommend creative tests, platform innovations, and new audience acquisition tactics.

What You’ll Need:  

  • Diploma/ Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience in social media or digital marketing.
  • Strong command of English and Mandarin, with ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in both.
  • Proven ability to grow engagement and traffic through content-driven strategies.
  • Deep understanding of platform algorithms, digital users’ behaviours, analytics, and social ad optimisation.
  • A passion for sports and digital storytelling — especially football.
